Hi
Kathy,
I
read your email about the war monument in Arlington Cemetery. I read the
part where "....so help us, God" was
edited from the quote by FDR. This is the only way I know to
respond.........
Are
you #*!$%^#& kidding me?
What
in God's name do you expect? All nations, all peoples, all institutions
gain their lead from their leaders. We got what we asked for. The
president is the brains of the country. What constructive, inspired, wise
actions could we possibly be capable of with shit for brains.
The
American people have chosen --twice-- a
"can't do" moron with no more originality, insight, imagination,
intelligence or integrity than the pathetic...
George
W. Bush(league).
This
simple-minded, muddle-headed, arrogant in his ignorance, deceitful in his
"faith" and titanic in his stupidity has taken the rare stance
of the "can't do" president. No other president has ever led us
into this "can't do" way of being Americans. God help him, us
and the world.
According
to this banal, mean-spirited simpleton...
God
knows "We can't stop illegal aliens from flooding across our borders
and staying in our land illegally".
God
knows "We can't think that twelve million honest, hard working and
industrious people could make a positive difference by legally turning on
their corrupt leaders, instead of running away from their land of birth
and illegally invading another country."
God
knows "We can't stop corporations from out sourcing jobs, lowering
wages and pocketing record breaking profits gained dubiously at the
expense of the majority of the citizens who elected this stooge of a
president."
God
knows "We can't spend any more money on educating our children."
God knows "We can't take better care of our elderly."
God knows "We can't allow voices of opposition to be heard
respectfully."
God knows "We can't tolerate complete freedom of expression for fear
it will lead to perversion."
God knows "We can't accept the rights of all
individuals to decide personal matters in their personal lives."
God knows "We can't stop buying more bullets, bombs and weapons of
mass destruction."
God knows "We can't find Bin Laden. We can't stop lying when it
comes to the facts of Iraq. We can't stop the now civil
war in Iraq."
God knows "We can't expect the Iraqi people to pay for their freedom,
much less the reconstruction of their country, without the help of
American tax dollars."
God knows "We can't be expected to completely rebuild New Orleans
with American tax dollars."
God knows "We can't expect the price of gasoline to be lowered."
God knows "We can't respond with appropriate speed and care to
natural disasters in our own country."
God knows "We can't protect our selves from terrorist attacks in our
own country."
God knows "We can't protect ourselves from insurance company policies
that are diligent in collecting premiums, yet melt away like snow flakes
in Florida when it comes time to deliver the product those premiums paid
for."
God knows "We can't have intelligent debates, discussions,
disagreements and resolutions on key issues facing us as a nation."
God knows we, as a people, are suffering the consequences of our
collective decision to elect such an imbecile to our highest public
office.
God knows how we are suffering through our collective decision to turn
away from enlightenment, education, integrity, compassion, reason,
justice, honesty and modesty by our collective choice of this dismal
excuse of a person in lieu of "the best of the best America has to
offer" when choosing a president.
God forgive us our historic momentary lack of reason in our lunatic
selection.
God help us through our plight brought on by our freely choosing silence
in the face of corruption.
God
damn us if we do it again.
Edit
the word God from this......and nothing of the intent changes.
America isn't at risk because the word "God" is being banned in
every other publication or speech.
America is at risk when any
word is banned in the land once proud of being the "land of free
speech."
Humans
are at risk by excluding God's
Word from their own lives.
Freedom
is for those brave enough to treasure it, bask in it and fight for it!
Statues and monuments only appeal
to our vanity, tourists and pigeons.
